The orientation ceremony for the 1404 intake students of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering was held on Aban 7, 1404 (October 29, 2025), attended by a group of faculty members and new students. The event was organized by the members of the Materials Science and Engineering Scientific Association (Bolour) with the support of the Sharif University of Technology Entrepreneurship Center.
During the ceremony, Dr. Mohsen Kazeminejad, the esteemed Dean of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Sharif University of Technology; Dr. Adrineh Malek Khachatourian, the respected Vice Dean for Student and Cultural Affairs; and Dr. Majid Pouranvari, the respected Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, delivered speeches. Another key speaker was Engineer Alireza Jafar, Director of the Sharif University of Technology Entrepreneurship Center.
Other highlights of the ceremony included presenting commemorative gifts to the new students, holding a competition, and performing musical pieces.
